Abstract
The world today is thinking of smart grid to control and monitor the power distribution and its application without affecting the existing infrastructure of power generation and distribution. In this paper the new trends and the applications have been analysed in terms of smart grid technology, its application and pros and cons on the power section and its feasibility.
